Plaques for mathematicians in Jena (Germany)

Spaziert man durch die Innenstadt von Jena, so fallen einem in einer Vielzahl Tafeln an den einzelnen Gebäuden auf, welche Personen und oft auch die Zeitperiode benennen, in denen diese im betreffenden Haus wohnten. Nachstehend sollen diese Tafeln - sofern sie sich auf Mathematiker beziehen - in Form von Bildern wiedergegeben werden, um die textuelle Angabe der Inschrift sowie der heute gültigen Adresse ergänzt.

When walking through the old part of Jena a lot of plaques attract attention on the several houses. They point out names and time periods during the mentioned person lived therein. As far these plaques mention mathematicians they will be shown in the following, additionally provided with the text of the inscription and the actual postal address.
