Das Historische Museum ist den Obergeschossen des alten Rathauses (Außenansicht siehe Foto zwischen deutschem und englischem Text) an der Place de la Réunion untergebracht. Im Aufgang zum zweiten Obergeschoss hängt ein Gemälde des Denkmals (für aktuelle Fotos mit einer Beschreibung siehe hier) für Johann Heinrich Lambert, allerdings ohne nähere Angaben zu Künstler und Entstehungsdatum.

Nicht in der ständigen Ausstellung, aber im Depot steht noch eine Büste, die J. H. Lambert darstellt (siehe Bild ganz unten).

Die Fotos wurden im Februar 2008 aufgenommen.

The Historic Museum is located in the upper floors of the old main hall of Mulhouse (cf. its total view on the second photograph on this page). It can be found directly at the Place de la Réunion. At the staircase there is a painting showing the monument for Johann Heinrich Lambert. For actual photographs and a description, please, look here. No information with respect of the artist nor date is provided.

Not part of the exhibition but deposited in the magazine there is a bust presenting J. H. Lambert (cf. the photograph on the right hand side).
