In der östlichen Ecke des Sophus-Lie-Auditoriums auf dem Campus der Universität von Oslo ist die oben abgebildete Büste von Sophus Lie aufgestellt.

Der Text auf dem Sockel benennt Name sowies Geburts- wie auch Sterbejahr:

Es sei darauf hingewiesen, dass sich in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Sitzbild zu N. H. Abel und eine Büste von V. Bjerknes befinden; weitere Hinweise und einen Überblick findet man hier.

In the northeastern corner of the Sophus Lie auditorium at the campus of the University of Oslo there is a bust of Sophus Lie, which is shown above. The text on the base is given in the German section above, there is no need of any translation. It denotes the name as well as the years of birth and death.

It should be mentioned that close to this bust on the campus of the University of Oslo there is a statue for N. H. Abel and a bust of V. Bjerknes. More details as well as an overview may be found here.
