Kepler-Linde in Graz (Österreich) /
Linden-tree named after Johannes Kepler in Graz (Austria)

Auf dem Schlossberg in Graz befindet sich zwischen Glocken- und Uhrturm ein Baum, vor dem eine Steintafel darauf hinweist (siehe oben), dass es sich um eine Linde handelt, die nach Johannes Kepler benannt ist. Ferner wird dort das Datum der Pflanzung mit dem 30. März 1903 angegeben. Die Linde befindet sich etwa auf Höhe der ARTSAT-Skulptur. ARTSAT war das erste Kunstexperiment der russischen Raumfahrt. Ganz in der Nähe gibt eine Informationstafel hierzu Erläuterungen.

On the castle's hill between the bell tower and the clock tower there is a tree with a stone plaque in front of it. The text of the plaque explains that this tree is a lime-tree named after Johannes Kepler and was planted on March 30^th, 1903. The linden-tree is located rather close to the ARTSAT sculpture. An information board provides some more details on ARTSAT the first art experiment of Russian spaceflight.
