Leibniz temple in the Georgen-garden at Hanover (Germany)

GENIO LEIBNITII - Dem Geist von Leibniz¹⁾. Zu Ehren von Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz wurde in den Jahren 1934/35 der Leibniztempel im Georgengarten in Hannover errichtet (siehe auch hier). Dieser Tempel mit den ionischen Säulenkapitellen enthielt seinerzeit auch eine Büste des großen Mathematikers, die allerdings heute dort nicht mehr vorhanden ist.

Die Fotos wurden im April 2004 aufgenommen.

GENIO LEIBNITII - To the spirit of Leibniz. Honouring Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz the so-called Leibniz temple (cf. also here) with its Ionian capitals was built in the Georgen-garden at Hanover in the years 1934/35. This temple also contained a bust of the great mathematician which is not longer existant there nowadays.
