Gemäß der Liste der Mathematikprofessoren der Leucorea (Universität Wittenberg) hatte J. J. Ebert von 1769 bis 1784 das Ordinariat für Niedere Mathematik und anschließend das zusammengelegte für Mathematik bis 1805 inne.
In [1, S. 40] sind unter anderem die von J. J. Ebert herausgegebenen Zeitungen namentlich benannt.
Die Aufnahmen entstanden im November 2008 (Gesamtansicht) und September 2009.

According to the list of professors for mathematics at Leucorea (University of Wittenberg) J. Ebert was professor for lower mathematics from 1769 up to 1784 and thereafter up to 1805 professor for mathematics.
Among other things the names of the newspapers issued by J. J. Ebert are mentioned in [1, p. 40].
