deutsch Das Wohnhaus mit der Adresse Obere Karlstr. 14 in Erlangen ist auch das Sterbehaus des Mathematikers Karl Georg Christian von Staudt. Mit einer Gedenktafel über dem Hauseingang wird auf diesen Zusammenhang hingewiesen und die Persölichkeit gewüridigt. Diese Tafel besitzt nachstehenden Text:

1835 - 1867 o[rdentlicher] ö[ffentlicher] Prof[essor] d[er] Mathematik
der Verfasser der
"Geometrie der Lage"

Wohnhaus von K. G. C. von Staudt / Dwelling house of K. G. C. von Staudt Nebenstehend ist eine Gesamtansicht des Gebäudes wiedergegeben.
