Commemorative plaque for Bernard Bolzano in Prague (Czech Republic)

Die oben wiedergegebene Gedenktafel ist Bernard Placidus Johann Nepomuk Bolzano gewidmet. Sie ist im östlichen Teil der Fußgängerzone in der Zeltnergasse (Celetná ulice) gegenüber der Einmündung der Straße Ovocný trh zu finden. Nähere Angaben erhält man, wenn man diesem Verweis folgt.

Die Übersetzung der Inschrift (ohne Geburts- und Sterbedatum) lautet wie folgt:

Im Erdgeschoss des Hauses befindet sich auch die Bolzano-Passage (siehe unten).

Das obige Foto wurde im Mai 2002 von meinem Kollegen Andreas Saremba aufgenommen. Das Foto am Ende dieser Seite entstand im Juli 2005.

The plaque, which is shown by the picture at the top of this page, is devoted to Bernard Placidus Johann Nepomuk Bolzano. It can be found in the eastern part of the pedestrian precinct in the street called Celetná ulice where it joins the street Ovocný trh.
