Etwas westlich vom Stadtkern (und auch des Stadions) auf freiem Feld befindet sich die
kleine Sternwarte, die nach
Johannes
Kepler
benannt ist und von der Linzer Astronomischen Gemeinschaft seit 1983 als
amateurastronomische Beobachtungsstation betrieben wird. Neben der Eingangstür ist die
oben wiedergegebene Tafel angebracht, die auch ein Porträt zeigt.
Die Fotos wurden im März 2011 aufgenommen.
At the western edge of the city of Linz and also west from the stadium there is a small
observatory named after
Johannes
Kepler.
It is operated by the Linzer Astronomischen Gemeinschaft (Astronomical Association of
Linz) as amateur observation ward. Beside the entrance the plaque shown above is placed. It
shows also a portrait of J. Kepler.
