lesbaren) Jahreszahlen, 354 und 430, unter dem Namen bezeichnen Geburts- und Sterbejahr
nach dem islamischen
Kalender, was in etwa den Jahreszahlen 965 und 1039 des
christlischen
Kalenders entspricht.
The 10 Dinars banknote issued by the Central Bank of Iraq shows a portrait of the
mathematician
Abu
Ali Al-Hasan ibn Al-Haytham together with a geometrical drawing. Below the name
the two numbers 354 and 430 are given (heavily readable). They state the years of birth
and death for the
islamic
calendar. They correspond approximately to the years 965 und 1039 of the
Christian
calendar.
