In den Gärten hinter dem Palastgebäude in Buda, das die ungarische Gemäldegalerie und das Budapester Historische Museum beherbergt, ist ein dem Mathematiker Regiomontanus gewidmetes Denkmal zu finden. Zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme im März war der Zugang zu den Gartenanlagen nicht möglich. Das Denkmal ist aber durch die Türgitter zu sehen, allerdings ist so der Text nur sehr schwer zu lesen. Deshalb soll hier auf eine in [1] angegebene Übersetzung zurückgegriffen werden:
Das Fotos wurde im März 2007 aufgenommen. Das unten wiedergegebene Bild zeigt des Palast vom anderen Donauufer; besagter Garten befindet sich auf der linken, dem Betrachter abgewandten Seite.
The Buda palace hosts the Hungarian National Gallery and the Budapest Historical Museum. In one of its gardens there is a monument honouring the mathematician Regiomontanus. At the time the photograph was taken this garden coudn't be accessed, but it is possible to see it through the door's grate. But in this situation the text can only hardly be recognized. By that reason a translation from [1] will be given in the following:
The photographs were taken in March 2007. The photograph below shows the palace viewed from the other side of the river Danube. The mentioned garden is situated on the back at the left.
