deutsch Auf das Grabmal von Bernhard Riemann auf dem Friedhof im Ortsteil Biganzolo der Gemeinde Verbania am Logo Maggiore weist noch die Grabtafel neben dem Eingang an der nordöstlichen Seite hin (die Situation ist dem Bild am Ende dieser Seite zu erkennen).

Hier ruhet in Gott
Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann
Professor zu Göttingen
geboren in Breselenz, den 17. September 1826
gestorben in Selasca, den 20. Juli 1866
Denen, die Gott lieben, müssen
alle Dinge zum Besten dienen.

Die Fotos wurden im September 2007 von Werner Pieper aus Berlin-Spandau aufgenommen.

english A plaque looks to be the only hint to the grave of Bernhard Riemann at the cemetery of Biganzolo which is part of Verbania located at the Lago Maggiore. The plaque is located immediately beside the entrance at the Northeastern side (as shown by the picture below).

The text of the plaque reads as follows:

Here rests in God
Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann
Professor in Göttingen
born in Breselenz, September 17th, 1826
died in Selasca, Juli 20th, 1866
Those, who love God, all things
must serve to its best manner.
