Der Gründer des Deutschen Museums Oskar von Miller wie auch seinen beiden Vorstandskollegen, dem Mathematikprofessor Walther von Dyck und dem Ingenieur Carl von Linde werden in einem zum Haupteingang benachbarten Raum mit Büsten geehrt. Ein unter der Büste angebrachtes Tableau weist Walther von Dyck (mit abweichender Schreibung des Vornamens) als Vorstandsmitglied vom Gründungsjahr 1903 bis ins Jahr 1930 aus.

In einem der Treppenhäuser des Museums ist ein dreiflügeliges Gemälde (siehe weiter unten) aufgehängt, das die Szene der Grundsteinlegung durch den deutschen Kaiser Wilhelm II. zeigt. Auf diesem Bild ist W. von Dyck ebenfalls verewigt. Anhand einer gegenüber dem Bild angebrachten Tafel können den dargestellten Personen deren Namen zugeordnet werden.

The founder of the Deutsches Museums Oskar von Miller as well his two colleages of the executive committee, the professor for mathematics Walther von Dyck and the engineer Carl von Linde, are honoured with busts in a room close to the main entrance. A tablet below the bust mentions that W. von Dyck was member of the executive committee from the year of foundation 1903 up to 1930.

The museum shows also a large painting above one of its staircases. It shows the scene of the corner-stone ceremony with the emperor Wilhelm II. W. von Dyck is also presented on this painting. By means of an information board on the opposite side persons and their names may be associated.
