Das Arithmeum in Bonn ist ein an das Institut für diskrete Mathematik der Universität Bonn angeschlossenes Museum. In ihm sind überwiegend mechanische, einige elektrische und im geringen Maße elektronische Rechenmaschinen ausgestellt. Als einen der Pioniere des elektronischen Rechnens ist im Arithmeum auch eine Büste von John von Neumann ausgestellt. Einen Eindruck der Ausstellung wie auch der ganzen Anlage kann mit den ganz unten angezeigten Bildern gewonnen werden.

Die Aufnahmen entstanden im Februar 2005.

The so-called Arithmeum in the city of Bonn is associated to the institute for discrete mathematics of the university of Bonn. This museum exhibits mainly mechanical, some electric, but less electronic calculators. Honouring one of the pioneers of computer technology the Arithmeum contains also a bust of John von Neumann.
